Yoga to Get Your Head on Straight!

(Literally, and metaphorically...)

Join me in the "virtual studio"...No flexibility required!

As well as an ancient practice, yoga is now well-researched and known to improve stress, treat depression, anxiety, and address many other concerns.

I have practiced yoga for over 20 years, and in 2020, achieved a long-time "bucket-list" aspiration when I completed training to earn the Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200) designation. I've had a goal to add yoga to the services I offer my clients because I understand what it can contribute to mind and body wellness as well as self-understanding.

My training emphasized the evidence-based components of yoga, including how to promote strength, posture, balance, mindfulness, and body and breath awareness.

As a Psychologist, I emphasize more "innercise" than exercise...the mind-body components of yoga that help you settle your stress, release tension, regulate your mood, and learn to relax.

If you would like to incorporate yoga as part of your treatment plan, please speak with me!
